About Geoff and Joyce Lewis We are Small Scale Miniatures and The Village Wheelwright and from our home in Lincolnshire we specialise in making unique collectable items which include Blacksmith and Wheelwright's tools and equipment, animated figures and other 'working' miniatures. We are probably best known on the Dolls House and Miniature Fairs circuit for our fireplace with a pig and goose roasting on spits which are rotating - turned by a 'Smoke Jack'- and our range of 'Old Forge' Fire Irons. We pay great attention to detail and like to photograph, measure and research the real thing where possible before making our miniatures. Our work has been collected by customers all over the world, with a museum in Japan having several of our animated items.There are also a number of these in the 'Behind the Dollshouse' collection at Leonardslee Gardens, East Sussex. We work mainly in 1/12th scale but do make some 1/24th scale. We make several 1/24th scale dollshouses as well as our 1/12th scale ones, some houses being available in both sizes. We do not have the facility for you to buy on line, but if you have any questions or should you wish to purchase anything please contact us by telephone, e.mail or pony express!
